Ithaca Gallery Night debuts May 1st from 5:00-8:00 pm.
Studio Art Quilt Associates, Inc. (SAQA) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote the art quilt. Our vision is that the art quilt is universally respected as a fine art medium. SAQA CT, SAQA NJ/NY, and SAQA PA present this showcase to highlight the impressive creativity and diverse approaches that members take in creating art quilts. The collection highlights different elements of the art quilt form and introduces our artists to the region. In creating their pieces, artists considered their personal style and identified the creative choices that were most impactful (Approach, Materials, Construction, Surface, and Genre).
