NYSCA Grant
Thanks to NYSCA’s Support for Special Opportunities program, CSMA is able to provide subsidized rehearsal spaces to non-profit performing arts groups and artists at zero to low cost.
Rehearsal spaces at CSMA are made available through an open rental process. Subsidized rates for our small practice rooms range from $0 cost for CSMA members practicing individually to a maximum of $10 per hour.
The subsidy program is intended to support creative rehearsal time and excludes other activities such as auditions, classes, workshops, performances, and events. For these and other uses, regular room rental rates apply and attractive rehearsal/performance packages are available with partial subsidies.
Support for Special Opportunities is made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature. For more information about the New York State Council on the Arts, please visit https://arts.ny.gov/.
