CSMA and Finger Lakes ReUse are collaborating again to celebrate, dance, and make music together in the Ithaca Festival Parade on Thursday, May 28th.  In preparation, we are hosting “Re-Shirt”, a Creative ReUse workshop at CSMA on Saturday, March 21.

Join CSMA and ReUse for this free Creative ReUse workshop re-creating or re-purposing t-shirts and making them into something that is “out of this world.” These creations can be used as costumes or pieces to march with CSMA and ReUse during the Ithaca Festival parade, or just for your own fun.. Attendees can also learn to repurpose t-shirts into reusable bags. With New York State’s plastic bag ban going into effect on March 1, 2020, this is a great opportunity to create a personalized reusable bag of your own. Shirts and decorating materials will be provided and attendees are also invited to bring their own shirts to decorate or materials to apply. The workshop is free and open to everyone, no registration necessary.
