Strewn Forgotten Gathered ReImagined
On view June 7 – July 26
From Finger Lakes waterways, to urban public spaces, to rural homesteads, litter and other left-behind objects are ubiquitous in the landscape. Join us for this exhibition of works by local artists addressing discarded objects found outdoors – trash.
Through photography, painting, sculpture, maps, and mixed-media work, artists Alyssa Anderson, Leslie Brack, Caroline Byrne, Amy Callahan, Paul Closs, Shera D’Elia, Nancy Malina, Michelle Plunkett, Marsha Taichman, Robin Tropper-Herbel, Bernard Yenelouis, and Magdalena Zink consider and reinterpret discarded materials. Cartography by Michelle Henry.
Presented by Cayuga Lake Watershed Network, Community School of Music and Arts (CSMA), and the Glorious Trash Birds.
Time
June 7 (Friday) 10:00 am - July 26 (Friday) 6:00 pm
