The Community School of Music and Arts (CSMA) is excited to showcase students, emerging artists, and established artists in our annual Open Exhibition. This exhibition of works by nearly 50 emerging and established artists celebrates the vibrancy, resiliency, and diversity of visual arts in our community. An annual favorite, this year’s edition curated by CSMA painting instructor Jennifer Gibson is definitely not to be missed! The Open Exhibition will be on view at CSMA from December 2 to January 27.

Curator
Jennifer Gibson is an artist who works in watercolor, gouache and oils. She graduated with a fine arts degree from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. She is an illustrator, and a studio and plein air painter who frequently attends plein air festivals throughout the Northeast. A member of CSMA’s visual arts faculty, Jennifer will be teaching Introduction to Watercolor later this fall. View her work at www.jgibsonillustration.com.
