Creative ReUse Instrument Making Workshop
with John Fuchs
Sunday, May 26, 3:00-5:00 PM
Ithaca ReUse Center, 214 Elmira Road. Free!

Want to make music with us? Make your very own percussion instrument out of reused materials to play in the parade! Local artist-inventor John Fuchs will share ideas and creative techniques, with all materials provided from ReUse Center inventory.  Or, bring an upcycled parade instrument from home. On parade day, Emily Richards (CSMA’s Education Director) will lead our band in playing simple rhythmic patterns that will sound super-cool!

CSMA is thrilled to announce a collaboration with Finger Lakes ReUse to march, dance, and make music together in the Ithaca Festival Parade on Thursday, May 30. Everyone and all ages welcome. Please join our celebration of creativity!

We thank the Park Foundation for generously supporting this project.
