Sam Fishman

Faculty, Music, Percussion

When Sam was in the first grade, he wanted to be a professional basketball player, a wrestling star, and an opera singer. When Sam entered eighth grade and experienced his first big roller coaster, he wanted to design them.

Many years later, Sam has found his calling as a professional drummer. He has used his skills to tour the world. Highlights include performing at the Sturgis Biker Festival, Dallas Cowboys Stadium, The Prudential Center, and Camp Hansen in Japan.
Another career milestone was performing with Misha Piatigorsky. The concert was recorded and is called “Stained Glass and Technicolor Grooves.”
Currently, Sam is the drummer for Driftwood. He also works with Aaron Lipp, Maddy Walsh, Cast Iron Cowboys, Ric Robertson, Richie Stearns, and many others in the Finger Lakes Music Community.
Sam is ready to guide aspiring musicians and drummers along their creative journeys. You will become a versatile musician by working with Sam!
