Meredith Conroy is a multi-talented individual with a passion for movement, education, and healing. With a solid educational foundation, she holds both a BS and MS from Ithaca College in physical therapy, demonstrating her commitment to understanding the intricacies of the human body.
Her journey into the world of movement began early, as she immersed herself in the disciplines of gymnastics and dance while growing up in Pennsylvania. During her college years, Meredith studied ballet under the tutelage of Eugenia Wacker-Hoeflin. After college, her dedication to the art form persisted, as she continues to refine her skills through classes at the Ballet Center of Ithaca, the official school of the Ithaca Ballet.
Utilizing her expertise in physical therapy, Meredith works as a pediatric physical therapist for Racker, where she focuses primarily on serving children within school settings. Her work not only aids in the physical development of her young students, but also enhances their overall well-being through movement and expression.
Outside of her clinical work, Meredith shares her love for ballet with others through teaching. With close to a decade of experience instructing adult ballet classes, she brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to her students at CSMA. Her classes not only foster technical proficiency, but also create a supportive and nurturing environment where individuals can explore their love for dance at any stage of life.
