Event Details

We are happy to announce our 4-week “Intro to Lindy Hop 1” dance class series!!! This is the next series after the “Intro to swing” series.
In this class, we will build on the basics to add more style and variety to your social dancing. We will learn how to adjust to the speed and feel of the music, how to better connect with our dance partners, and add some improvisation to our dancing.
Building on what was learned in Intro to Swing, we will begin to learn the traditional Lindy hops steps including Breakaways, Circles and partnered Charleston.
Prerequisites: Intro to swing, or similar.
Schedule: September 7th, 14th, 21st, & 28th 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm

Admission: $30 for the full series. To be paid at the first class.

Discounts available on request.
Registration is for all the classes in the entire series. Please plan to attend all classes in the series. If you have scheduling concerns, email us!

Covid Information: Masking is optional at The Shorty Gorge. Do not attend if you are experiencing COVID symptoms or if you have COVID.
Parking: You may park in the parking lot for True Insurance which is behind the CSMA building after 6pm. Street Parking is also free after 6pm
