The Foundation of Light, CSMA and Open Doors English are collaborating on a transformative weekend event June 20-22 celebrating the rhythms, stories, and flavors of African and Afro-Cuban traditions through dance, drumming, storytelling, and food. This immersive gathering is more than a cultural experience—it is a platform for community engagement, activism, and support for artists who share their heritage and histories.

Join us from 7:30 to 9:15pm in Martha Hamblin Hall for a performance of Arrival: Traditions Carried, Stories Shared with Mohamed Diaby, Adolfo Castillo and Lisbet López, and special guests, plus a video performance from Lamine Thiam. A Q&A with the artists follows the performance.
