Lynn Winters has been in the Performing Arts for over 30 years.  Originally from the Finger Lakes area, graduated from Mansfield University with an Education Degree in Voice and 2 weeks later moved to New York City.  There, she studied Acting at Herbert Berghof Studio and Improvisation with Chicago City Limits.  While in NYC, she performed in a variety of genres, including Lincoln Center Avery Fisher Hall, The Opera Ensemble of New York, a variety of musicals, night clubs, commercials, soap operas, film and print work.  Lynn, also founded and taught at Lynn Winters Studio of Acting and Voice, which has been active for 15 years.  While spending summers in the area, she created and directed productions for the Corning Civic Theatre and Keuka Repertory Theatre.

 

Currently, Winters, has returned to the area recording albums and writing an acting book, “Winters Acting Technique”.  At the same time, she continues her passion to teach acting and improvisation at CSMA.
