Emily Richards is a graduate of the Ithaca College School of Music, and a mom to two amazing girls.  She has been a director of the Ithaca Children and Youth Chorus, for which she currently serves as the Artistic Director, for over a decade. She specializes in working with young voices and can also be found happily leading infants through Preschool music classes around the Ithaca area. She has experience performing various styles of music including opera and classical as well as folk music and ensemble work.  She has also performed with a variety of different choral groups throughout her life, including growing up singing with the Ithaca Children’s Choir, and previously with the Cayuga Vocal Ensemble.  Emily serves as the Director of Congregational Life and Religious Exploration at the First Unitarian Society of Ithaca, is attending seminary, and serves on the Music Leadership Certification Committee for the UUA.
