Dearest Friends of CSMA,
As we reflect on this exciting time at the Community School of Music and Arts, we invite you to join us in asking, “What does CSMA mean to me?”
To us, CSMA is a vibrant home to develop and experience creativity. We are a dynamic link engaging artists, students, and audiences with the arts in the heart of our community.
For generations, our studios have given students of all ages a home to express themselves in a broad range of courses in music, dance, visual arts, theatre, and other art forms.
Our historic building hosts performances and events spanning many genres, and serves as a central meeting place for 30,000 artists and arts patrons each year. We have recently continued upgrades in Martha Hamblin Hall, our third-floor performance space, while preserving its unique character. With new sound, lighting, staging, and projection systems now in place, the quality of experiences for audiences and the realm of artistic possibilities in our venue are more spectacular than ever!
We are proud to welcome all through our doors, nurturing the creativity in everyone. At the core of all we do, we passionately value
Excellence in every program offered;
Accessibility, ensuring the arts are inclusive of all;
Connection, bringing people together to share and learn with others; and
Creative Growth, embracing the arts as a vital and powerful part of being human.
As you consider what the Community School of Music and Arts means to you, we ask you to please make a gift supporting programs here, our creative home.
Tax-deductible contributions in any amount may be made here online, by phone, or by mail. We thank you for your generosity!
