Harmony Malone, an Ithaca native and self-taught dancer, graduated from Ithaca College with a bachelors in Therapeutic Recreation with specialties in theater and dance. Harmony has been choreographing dances in the Ithaca community since she was 12 years old teaching Hip Hop fitness/expression and contemporary dance to people of all ages.
She has choreographed and taught Hip Hop as well as contemporary dance to children aged 4-8 for Beverly J. Martin’s A-Plus Program, the creator of the B.U. Dance Squad of the Greater Ithaca Activities Center, the head choreographer and Co-Director of Southside Community Center’s – Community Unity Music Education Program (CUMEP) since 2008, and has even been a movement specialist here at our very own CSMA for the Arts All Around You summer program over the course of 4 years.
Harmony teaches Hip Hop at CSMA, and created a performing dance group that’s open to the community known as UNITED!
