The downtown and Fall Creek neighborhoods have interesting buildings: churches, houses, gardens and streets. Learn to draw these from life using basic proportion and linear perspective tools. Complex architectural forms can be built on a simple understanding of the circle and the square in perspective. Some prior drawing experience is helpful but not required. Subjects can be selected to suit the student’s skill level, and individual assistance in problem solving will be given. Any drawing media (pencil, charcoal, pen, etc.) are appropriate. A materials list is available from the office.
