Description
This introductory level drawing class emphasizes learning how to see with an artist’s eye. Working from direct observation, students will learn sighting and measuring techniques, working with light and shadow, seeing negative space, drawing texture and pattern and creating a sense of space using perspective and other devices. Class time will include discussion, critique, and working from still lifes, and home assignments will be given.
