Description
Shibori is a Japanese word for methods of manipulating cloth to produce a design. Arashi Shibori involves resisting dye or reserving light areas of cloth using a pole. Students will learn to create beautiful fabric with traditional Arashi Shibori white/blue patterns using twine to tie, thread to sew, or twisting by hand to apply cloth to the pole for dyeing.
A materials list is available through the office. Class fee includes dyes.
