The day begins at 9:00AM. Children gather
with the coordinators to talk about the day's activities and play
an introductory game. Classes in visual art, dance, music and theatre,
with activities relating to the weekly theme, take place each morning.
CSMA provides a daily snack. Children bring their own bag lunch
and CSMA provides a daily snack. Afternoons may include more classes
and demo/performances by faculty members or guests. |
|
| |
One day per week, the children take a
field trip to a local museum, university, art center or park. Two
days per week, students go to an area park. Chaperons travel by
bus with the children on these trips. |
|
| |
On Friday afternoons, the
children present an informal performance for family and friends
based on the theme of the week. |

| |
The day's main activities
end at 3:00PM. An after care program, with other structured activities
and some supervised free time, is available from 3:00-5:00PM each
